AR Kromna Drachm mid-4th Century B.C. (3.06g)
O: Laureate head of Zeus to left; Cf. RG p. 184 (same monogram but symbol unnoted). SNG BM 1323.
R: Head of Hera to left, wearing stephane, earring and necklace; to left, monogram; below, dolphin swimming left.
G: Rare. Very attractively toned and of splendid style, perhaps the most beautiful of all the issues of Kromna. Extremely fine.
S: From the Star collection, acquired from E.J. Waddell in 1996. Auktion LHS 102, lot 252, 4/29/08
