Thanks for the comments, Joe; coming from a Caligula expert like yourself, it is appreciated. My friend marsmike had this one for some time; he got it from me actually, but when he started deaccessioning some of his Roman material to make way for those Greek masterpieces he has been acquiring lately, I was happy to welcome this one back. Though not in perfect condition, it is well struck and possesses a delightful two-tone patina that helps highlight the details.
