I have to ask, why Tacitus?

Because I have this annoying habit and have to collect something. Tacitus are fairly plentiful, there are lots of varities and the coins are for the most part inexpensive in nice condition. I have a few other more expensive collections but don't add many coins to those collections on an annual basis. Tacitus allows me to add lots of coins, thus satisfying the bug, without spending a ton of money.
