DIVA JULIA DOMNA. Died 217 AD. AR Denarius - 19mm (2.94 g). Rome mint. DIVA IVLIA AVGVSTA, veiled and draped bust right / CONSECRATIO, Peacock standing facing, body and head turned left, tail spread. RIC 396 (Caracalla) and 715 (Severus Alexander); BMCRE 9 (Elagabalus); RSC 24. Superb EF, choice flan, well centered. Very rare and certainly one of the finest known.
