Purporting to come from the first gate series from Arleate this coin is irregular in at least two ways. The obverse bust is laureate, draped, and cuirassed and faces right, a combination which is not attested in RIC for the series from which it comes. And the four turret gate on the reverse has no doors, whereas the normal gate has open doors. This coin is unlike the examples so for shown at the Beastcoins website which all illustrate normal obverse types for this series in combination with the missing doors subvariety.
