Constantine II (322-323 AD) AE3; 19.52 mm.; 2.6 gms.; Obv: CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, Cuirassed, laureate bust l. holding globe surmounted by Victory in r. hand; Rev: BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS, globe on altar, three stars above. VO/TIS/XX on altar. PTR pellet in exergue. Sim. RIC vol VII Trier 382. Unlisted in RIC bust type. Emperor is curiassed and not draped. Unlisted exergue for mint and reverse combination. Isn't that a trabea that he is wearing, not a cuirasse (they look very similar) ? He is also holding something in his left hand, a mappa ?
