I should say so -- if you figure 3.25 tons and maybe 4 grams per coin, that's over 800,000 coins in this one hoard! Even if a percentage of the coins are heavier, higher denomination coins, still an amazing number.

Probably on their way to a smelter right now, to be converted into copper wiring for all our IPods.
