Berkeley’s Artwork Loss Is a Museum’s Gain

An incredible story of institutional incompetence. My alma mater as a matter of fact. In their defense I know they take very good care of many of their collections. This however is a story worth reading:

That is an amazing story. How could they "loose" something like that? Even not knowing what it was I would have bought it simply because it is beautiful. Such good stewards of our cultural heritage! (Is there an emoticon for sarcsm?)
