Additional information on the last fake posted by Curtis. This coin is a published fake, from the Lipanoff Studio, no. 123, Published by Dr. I. Prokopov Sofia 2004. The Lipanoff dies seem to have been used in a variety of pressed and cast fakes where obverses and reverses have been combined to create a variety of new combinations.

With regards to the original coin. I have not seen these dies in my search for fakes. The exact weight match, if this is the case would certainly ring some alarm bells but I cannot condemn outright the coins based on the images.

Regards,
Martin

"...on a coin whose numerous edge cracks reveal it to be pressed..."

Thank you, Curtis!
