This is a well known fake that I discovered when the Triton coin was sold. The Triton coin never made it to the buyer. There have been perhaps a dozen of these around over the last few years and it's on the IAPN website. The host coin was sold last year or the year before, in a Lanz sale I think. There's also a fake of this in gold.

Thank you for confirming the fakery of the CNG "coin". It may be a well known fake and posted on the IAPN website, but collectors like me, dont have access to this private information. We are forced to "reinvent the wheel" so to speak. I really feel GREAT, that due the the photo-analytical skills I learned on the CFDL from experts like Alan & you, I was able to determine by a photo of a coin, that passed all the internal CNG authenticity checks, was in reality, cast fake crap. So others, will not have to "reinvent the wheel", I have posted this pair of cast fake crappies on the www.forgerynetwork.com. http://www.forgerynetwork.com/asset....d=lvySdjHVHao= http://www.forgerynetwork.com/asset....d=9C4s5K7IHeg= Cliff Laubstein

A friend of mine bought the Irena Petrov fake. He paid by Paypal. What are his chances of getting his money back?

Irena Posted " GUARANTEE THE COIN IS GENUINE. If this coin purchased is not to your satisfaction you may return it for any reason no questions ask for refund of the purchase price within 30 days from the date of sale. If in the unlikely event that an item is found to be not genuine, you can return it for a refund of the purchase price within one year from the date of sale."
So tell your friend to ask Irena for his $405.03 back and please send Irena my regards (Cliff Laubstein). She has banned my from bidding on her auctions and refuses to respond to my emails.
