What a great coin!

This is really an amazing coin Tony. I personally think it's of slightly unofficial barbarous style, but as you've correctly stated, it almost looks good enough to be official. I love the missing...

Thanks Beast! Wasn't sure if I had read this one correctly when I bought it but there certainly wasn't even an attempt at an I in this one. It's nice to see a little blunder among so many normal...

Constantine, London, 310-312AD Spread chlamys SOLI INVICTO type

This one is like RIC VI 234 except that 234 specifically states that the chlamys should be draped over the left shoulder and this one is spread. I've seen two or three of these pop up lately so...

Licinius, Trier, 316AD, Spelled LICINVS

Here's a fun one, probably shouldn't even put it here but the style is so regular that the engraver error could indeed be an actual legend variant. This is a RIC 121 of Trier except that the legend...

Maxentius, Lugdunum, 307-308 AD GENIO POP ROM / A bust

Hello everyone,

I thought this Maxentius was simply RIC 256 until I took a look closer and realized that 256 was listed with a D bust variety (laureate, draped, cuirassed) and this one is an A bust...
