Good day all,

I'm seriously considering a trip to London coinciding with the fall London Coin Fair. Does anyone have the dates for this? I sent an email to Spink the other day but have heard nothing back. I'm sure it will be mostly that modern Anglo-Saxon stuff(there's no accounting for taste), but I'm willing to wade through the muck to find the ancient gems.:)

Thanks,
Darcy

As far as I have been able to find out the dates are as follows:-

COINEX - The Earls Court Conference Centre, LONDON
26th & 27th September 2008

Thanks Martin,

Sorry for my ignorance, but is Coinex a different name for the London Coin Fair, held in conjunction with the fair or two totally different birds?

My understanding is that London Coin Fair is a differenent beast entirely to COINEX. LCF is organised by Simmons Gallery and I have enclosed the details below. The Autumn LCF is on Saturday 8 November 2008 and there tend to be 65-75 dealers present. I must admit that I have not attended either for some years though I might try and get to one or both this year.

COINEX is organised by the BNTA.

Thank you again,

Coinex is the one I was thinking of, no idea how I came to think of the two as the same.

Cheers,
Darcy
